| This weekend the Western Maryland Railway Historical Society was here with their HO modular layout. Here a trio of F-7's crosses the Salisbury Viaduct. | Their layout has a number of genuine Western Maryland scenes depicted in miniature. The viaduct's foundations were built for two tracks but only one was ever needed. | ||||||||||||||||||
| ...and it exits a few seconds later. | |||||||||||||||||||
| The train enters Brush tunnel, still existing on the Western Maryland Scenic RR. | |||||||||||||||||||
| The train speeds past a herd of cows... ...and then past a contour-plowed field. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Behind it are more Western Maryland cars, gray hoppers and red covered hoppers. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Joe C. has custom-painted and lettered these hopper cars. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Joe's FA units catch up to Pete's RS3, all painted in Western Maryland colors. | The trains barrel toward the photographer along the back side of the layout. | ||||||||||||||||||
