RUNNING IN THE SNOW - The Museum's outdoor layout was running two trains today after clearing snow and ice off the tracks. In addition to the Western Maryland train in the foreground, there was a Shay pulling a log train on the trestle.
PLOWING SNOW - Pete's Eggliner pulled some extra duty clearing snow off one of the unused tracks.  It did fine at this spot, but heavy ice later put a halt to the operation.
HEAVY DUTY RAILROADING - back inside the warmth of our layout building, a big SD45 pulls a 20-car coal train across the creaking trestle.
ALL LIT UP - the afternoon sunshine pours into the building, lighting up the windows in Pete's Budd Car.  This is the same car that has visited layouts all acrossthe USA.
MERRY CHRISTMAS - In this parting shot, James the Red Engine wears a Santa hat to wish a Merry Christmas to one and all!
