TAKING A LUNCH BREAK - Joan and Colleen joined Gary during the first shift of train running.  They seem just as happy as our visitors this morning!

WHAT ARE THEY SMILING ABOUT? - Maybe just because they're happy to see our layout, or maybe because I asked them to smile for the camera!

CREW CHANGE - Joe and Walt carefully back the Club Train into the yards so Walt can start his shift.  Joe was there the entire day, 10 AM to 4:30 PM.

READY TO ROLL - Walt's Santa Fe engine pulls out of the yard toward the main line.  Its lights are on and its horn is blaring.

DASH NINE DASHING - The "Dash Nine," short for "General Electric Dash 9-C44W," dashes along the main line while the fellow in the background waves.

WELDER WELDING - the guy in the back of the workbench is getting ready to weld a part in Walt's Shop Car, one of the cars being hauled by the Dash Nine.

SHOP OFFICE - The desk at Bobby's Garage is detailed with telephone, lamp, and typewriter, with a potbelly stove to keep everyone warm.

DON'T LOOK AT THE LIGHT - This guy is doing some electric arc welding in Bobby's Garage, another of Walt's creations.

SMOKING - For a minute there it looked like the garage was on fire.  But it was just a downdraft of smoke from the smokestack.

BURRO IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE - The Burro Crane is located in front of our building.  The doors are just behind the crane.
