AFTERNOON MEET - Walt's Santa Fe train has just passed Pete's empty coal train with the sun lighting up the back of the caboose.  It doesn't show in this picture, but the hopper cars are labelled P&C.  A number of people asked what railroad is that.  Well, folks, it's the Petersburg and Charlottesville, Pete's backyard railroad, named for Pete and Charlotte of course!

BACK TO THE MINES - Pete's train of empty hoppers, about 28 cars long, rolls along in the late afternoon sun.

PLATFORM SCENE - The station's side platform is relatively quiet at the moment. The railroad is collecting money from the gumball machine to pay for sign repairs.

PULL THE BLINDS - the window blinds in Bel Air Station even have those ring-shaped pulls.  The frosted look on the windows is from waxed paper.

LOOK AT THAT - Granddad is pointing to the welder in the shop car.  It's late in the day, and these visitors will be asked to leave soon.

FOLKS ITS TIME TO LEAVE - Tania of the Museum staff is ordering these folks to leave, NOW!!  They are obviously not taking it very seriously!
