FAST FREIGHT LINE - Western Maryland lives up to its image as these engines speed along past a string of P&C hoppers.

FILMING THE ACTION - Angel aims the videocamera at the long Western Maryland train that she and Joe brought in today.  I believe it has 28 cars, all WM.

LOADS EAST, EMPTIES WEST - In true coal-railroad fashion, Joe's train of loaded coal hoppers heads east while Pete's train of empty hoppers heads west.

ESCAPE ARTIST - This little guy slipped away from his mommy and joined us in the center of the layout.  Maybe he'll join the club when he gets older!

HEAVY TRAFFIC - Pete's SD45 in the distance is smoking heavily as it pulls the coal drag past Joe's well kept Alcos.  WM always kept their engines clean.

BACKING INTO THE YARD - After a hard day's work, the Western Maryland crew carefully backs their train into the yard.  Soon the train will be in boxes in the back of a pickup truck.
