[next day's photos]
CURIOUS CROWD - The Museum got a lot of visitors today - and I was so busy talking I didn't get many pictures.  The Carnival is drawing a lot of attention in this photo.  These animated displays (and Thomas the Tank Engine) have been running eight hours a day for 34 days now!
MOTHER AND DAUGTER - This girl and her mommy are looking for the four Santas.  They're looking at the hot-air-balloon Santa and will soon find the little Santa. FATHER AND SON - These guys have visited my backyard railroad many times and we were happy to run into each other today.
B&O MUSEUM
HO LAYOUT

HOUSED IN A C&O PASSENGER CAR
Bromo Tower
Camden Station
LOADING - An important Baltimore scene is this facility loading coal onto a ship.
RAMP - After it's unloaded, the coal car coasts down the ramp, reversing direction.
STEEL MILL - Another important Baltimore industry is represented by this steel mill, with lights indicating molten steel and a switcher moving cars between buildings.
CONTROLS - The automatic control system for the layout is located near the exit at the far left side of the layout.
OVERALL VIEW - There is generous aisle space and the layout is behind thick glass.  This protects the layout but the reflections make photography challenging!
EXTERIOR - This is the C&O passenger car that contains the HO layout.
