A SUNNY SATURDAY AT THE MUSEUM

SUNSHINE ON THE SOUTHERN CRESCENT - The bright afternoon sun shines brightly on the Southern Crescent during its maiden run.  This is Pete P.'s train, brand new, never run before today.  It consists of a Pacific and eight cars.
BUSY MAIN LINE - at one point we had 6 trains running on the main line - Joe's Mikado freight train and Blue Comet passenger train, and Pete E.'s 2 Eggliners, RDC, and short freight.  Plus we had the two Z scale trains and Thomas running.
BUSY SPECTATOR AISLE - we had a lot of visitors today, young and old, and they took lots of pictures.  Several people had never seen G scale before!
WASH ME - Art's U25 locomotive was covered in soot - just like the real thing - and somebody wrote "WASH ME" in its side.  His other U25 is weathered but not this sooty.
VIEW OUT THE WINDOW - Outside our window we could see a crowd enjoying the Museum's outdoor G scale layout.  Inside the Roundhouse it was nice and warm.
