[home] DON'S PICTURES FROM DECEMBER 11
AT THE B&O MUSEUM
EXPRESS - An LGB tank engine storms across the trestle with a short passenger train.
WRONG TRAIN - The waiting passengers are disappointed because this train is not stopping at the station - it's a freight train.  So why is it slowing down?
THIRSTY - the Ten Wheeler is about to stop for a drink of water at the water plug.
GRIMEY - this Aristocraft covered hopper car has a nice touch of "weathering" - a little road grime that makes it look like a well-travelled freight car, not fresh out of the box.  The Western Maryland paint job is available only from Star Hobbies.
SMOKEY - this Lionel engine is really smoking it up as it pulls a train around the Christmas tree in Don's Christmas Garden. OK, OK, so it's not at the B&O museum, but at least it's a B&O locomotive!
