[home] TEARDOWN OF THE B&O LAYOUT
DECEMBER 19, 2004
WHERE DID THOMAS GO? This little boy was lamenting the fate of Thomas the Tank Engine who was happily running around the mountain an hour before.
MOVING MOUNTAINS - These incredibly strong men are moving Wolverton Mountain all by themselves!  And they make it look easy!
STURDY TRESTLE - I asked Jeff how sturdy the trestle was.  I didn't say I wanted him to sit on it!  Yep, it's mighty sturdy!
LOADING THE TRUCK - Jeff took the initiative to be the man inside the truck.  The rest of us tried our best to trap him inside!
LEE SUPERVISING - There's Lee in the red coat watching the other three work.
LEE WORKING - finally we got him to lift up a box of track.  He's really straining!
UNLOADING AT THE SHED - As darkness fell, Joe, Jeff, Rick, and I unloaded the trucks at the Club Shed.  We wanted to beat the predicted snowstorm.  We were finished about 5:30, and within 15 minutes we had a vicious hailstorm that later turned into a windy but brief snowstorm.  Everybody made it home OK.
