February 11 and 12, 2006
The news media predicted a big snowstorm but that doesn't mean it's really going to snow.  In reality, a light snow started around 2 PM but the snow was melting on streets and sidewalks.  By 5 PM, there was enough snow on the railroad to get the plows out.
PLOWING SNOW OR PLOWING LEAVES? - The plow got stuck in a few places, picking up all the leaves that had accumulated almost two months since the last plowing.
TWO EGG PLOW - A second Eggliner was a great help in the plowing operation.
NIGHT RUN - The plows kept running after the sun went down.
THE MORNING AFTER - We woke up to 10 inches of snow on the ground and it was still coming down.  Here it's covering the depot and water tower.
COVERED BRIDGE COVERED - and so was the truss bridge!
