| Here's a birds-eye view of the Pelican Pass Railroad. It had lots of fish - big ones - and lots of trains, in a large and well-landscaped layout. There was also a layout under the deck. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On another layout, this scratchbuilt coal mine greeted us as we entered the back yard. It was a very nice Rio Grande diesel layout with cast concrete viaducts and nice structures. Look at those beaten-up hopper cars. Why did he have to do it to Western Maryland cars! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I didn't count, but there's probably 101 Dalmatians in this scene. This was a fun layout to visit. The owner uses his hobby to entertain his grandchildren and their friends, with lots of scenes like this one. He sold all his LGB trains and runs 14 Eggliners instead! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| At one of the layouts I ran into fellow Mason Dixon members Carl and Barb. They came down for the day from their vacation home in Wisconsin. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I also ran into Rick on a day we both wore our Mason Dixon shirts. I was wondering why this guy wanted to take our picture. Later I found out he was Rick's brother-in-law! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Here's Rick and his sister at the Dealer Hall. Obviously she was having a lot of fun! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
