CLUB LAYOUT AT GREAT SCALE SHOW
OCTOBER 8 & 9, 2005
[home]
JOE AND JOE - the two Joes are checking out the layout.  Looks like one Joe did a little shopping!  The Joe in the red hat was running a nice long train, a USMC military train.        [Photo by Don H.}
MARINE CORPS TRAIN - the two GP7's (with sound) are pulling 27 cars.  Joe would have added more cars but the transformer couldn't handle it!          [Photo: Don H.]
DANGEROUS CLOSEUP - looks like the photographer was about to get run over by a heavy duty train....but the train was actually stopped at the time!
HEAVY TRAFFIC - The Marine Corps train took up most of the outer loop, while Bob H's ore train took the inner loop.  Art had a train waiting in the siding.  There was also a trolley and a Thomas the Tank train running at the time.
THOMAS CHASING JAMES - and Thomas caught up to James' train.  Fortunately there was no crash....this time at least!
WESTERN MARYLAND UP CLOSE - when he thought I wasn't looking, this young man had his head right in front of the train until the last second!
LOTS OF SPECTATORS - our layout is always a big hit with the crowd.  During this particular show, the Sunday crowd (above) was much lighter than the Saturday crowd.
