MEETING AT JOE'S - 9/17/06

WAITING FOR A TRAIN - a good number of people are waiting at the depot.

HEAVY TRAFFIC - It wasn't long before a number of trains thundered by.

FREIGHT PASSING PASSENGER - The freight train is chugging along past the Blue Comet's engine, which was taking a break at the siding.

WATCHMAN AT WORK - The crossing watchman was busy today with all the train traffic.  At the moment there's a coal train up there in the distance, which will soon loop around and pass in front of him.  Despite all the heavy traffic, it was all freight, and the poor folks at the station didn't got picked up all afternoon!

SIDE BY SIDE - The Mallet on the left is pulling a long freight past the Jersey Central Blue Comet.  The trains ran very well today except for a visiting Budd Car.
