| This is a summary of basic module dimensions and construction materials. Corner modules, yard modules, skirting, and stanchions are owned by the Club. Individual members own the straight modules, which have complete scenery that may include animation and lighting. The owner of each module provides legs, lag bolts, plexiglass, C-clamps, and power supplies for lighting and animation. | ||||||||||
| Length: 47 1/4 inches. Width: 36 inches. Legs: 42 inches, 2x2. Leg bolts: 20 by 2 inch, washer, wing nut. Top: 3/8 plywood 47.25 inches, min. 15" deep. Sides: 1x3, painted flat gray. C-clamps: owned by module owner. Plexiglas: 47.25 x 13 inches, 1/4 inch thick. Track: code 332, continuous piece, rail joiners or clamps between modules. Track centers: Mainline #1: centerline 5 1/2 inches from front. Mainline #2: center 6 7/16 inches from center of Mainline #1. Optional track #3: center 18 inches from center of Mainline #2. Ballast: medium size chicken grit. |
