As you walk further south, there is a wall on your left and the railroad returns to single track. To me, this scene captures the essence of the old Ma and Pa. |

Further on there are several other pieces of Maintenance-Of-Way equipment. As we turned to go back, here's the scene. Milepost 56 is adorned with lettering from the Ma and Pa RR Restoration Society. It is made of wood, 8 inches square, 10 feet from track center. |
