We left Muddy Creek Forks and got back on the road to York.  Unfortunately we missed an exit.  Fortunately we found our way to the tracks.  Here's the old Northern Central Station on the west side of town with a pair of Yorkrail CF-7 engines idling away on the left.
If you look closely you can just about make out the faded "Maryland and Pennsylvania" lettering on the locomotive under the four exhaust stacks:
The engines uncoupled from their train, pulled onto the main, and a brakeman reset the switch. We thought the units would then pass in front of us on the near track, but instead they pulled away toward the east:
If you turn around 180 degrees from this spot and proceed another block, you can see the old Northern Central tower:
We went back in the car and went looking for railroad action.  "Look guys!" "What?" "It's the old Western Maryland Freight Station!"
