SCALE SHOW AT TIMONIUM - FEB. 4 - 5, 2006
[home]
OVERALL VIEW - Our layout was larger than usual this time, about 40 by 50 feet, so the setup crew made it as large as the carpeting would permit.
MARINE CORPS TRAIN - Joe brought his USMC military train, which at one point grew to 36 cars behind 4 engines!  He even brought his own power supply.  But the track was not able to keep such a long train running without derailments, so Joe (on the far right) had to shorten the train a bit.  It was very popular with the spectators.
VIDEOTAPING - I don't think it made it onto the Channel 2 News, but there were several videocameras recording the action for posterity.  Maybe it's the Eggliner this time, but more likely there's Thomas the Tank Engine running just outside our view.
THE TRAIN CREW - in this scene we see (L to R) a friend of Bob's, Bob S., Jeff (front), Joe S., and Art.  A few others have escaped the camera.  At least this time!
Angel looks right at home running the train, but in reality it was "How do I stop this train?"
