OVERALL VIEW - Our layout was larger than usual this time, about 40 by 50 feet, so the setup crew made it as large as the carpeting would permit. |

MARINE CORPS TRAIN - Joe brought his USMC military train, which at one point grew to 36 cars behind 4 engines! He even brought his own power supply. But the track was not able to keep such a long train running without derailments, so Joe (on the far right) had to shorten the train a bit. It was very popular with the spectators. |

VIDEOTAPING - I don't think it made it onto the Channel 2 News, but there were several videocameras recording the action for posterity. Maybe it's the Eggliner this time, but more likely there's Thomas the Tank Engine running just outside our view. |
